Construction Material

Made of Fragranite, an extremely durable material, resistant to burns, scratches, peeling, and stains. It is an innovation by Franke and is a unique material with a discreet shine, warm to the touch thanks to the 80% granite content.

Fragranite is made of quartz, one of the hardest known materials. The surface remains unaffected by temperatures up to 280°C. Thanks to Franke's innovative Sanitized method, hygiene is guaranteed. The Sanitized method reduces bacterial growth by 99%, ensuring a healthy kitchen that contributes to your well-being.

Installation

The installation is inset, meaning it is mounted inside the countertop and its rim protrudes. It is the easiest and most common installation for kitchen sinks. Essentially, the weight of the sink is supported by the countertop itself, and there are simply some support points on the bottom for stability. Sealing is achieved with insulation material, such as silicone, which is placed around the opening, under the rim.
